Jasvir Nijjar

Jasvir Nijjar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jasvir currently holds the position of Regional Vice President of Sales at Benevity. Prior to this, they worked at Heart & Stroke, where they served as the National Development Health Equity Lead from August 2021 to August 2022, and as the Vice President of Philanthropy and Campaigns from August 2018 to January 2022. Before joining Heart & Stroke, they worked at the University of Toronto as the Director of Principal Gifts from July 2016 to July 2018, and as the Associate Director of Major Gifts from July 2012 to July 2016. Jasvir also worked as a Major Gifts Officer at the United Way of Greater Toronto from 2009 to 2012, and as the Manager of Resource Development at United Way Toronto from April 2005 to June 2009. Their earlier experience includes working as a Senior Relationship Manager at Manulife Financial from December 1999 to April 2005.
