Kelsey Duffield

Team Lead - Site Reliability Engineering at Benevity

Kelsey Duffield has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kelsey started their career in 2004 as an Athlete with Speed Skating Canada/Patinage de Vitesse Canada, where they remained until 2010. In 2006, they joined Bow Cycle & Sports as a Sales Representative and worked there until 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Coach/Trainer at Thialf BV from September 2013 to December 2013. In 2011, they joined KIA Sports Academy as an Athlete Services professional, staying until March 2012.

In 2016, Kelsey joined the University of Calgary, where they held various roles. Kelsey started as a Weight Room Attendant and then became a Guest Relations Supervisor from October 2018 to June 2019. From June 2019 to November 2020, they served as the Team Lead Sport Activities, managing the High-Performance weight room and collaborating on marketing and event initiatives.

Currently, they are working at Benevity as a DevOps Delivery Lead. Kelsey started in November 2020 and has been responsible for managing DevOps projects, ensuring documentation and planning, reporting progress, coordinating dependencies, and implementing process improvements. Recently, they have taken on the role of Team Lead - Site Reliability Engineering, demonstrating their leadership and technical expertise in the field.

Kelsey Duffield completed a degree in History with a specialization in Military History from the University of Calgary between 2015 and 2018.
