Supriyo Sinha possesses a diverse and extensive professional background, currently serving as a Special Invitee on the Managing Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry since October 2024, and as a member of the National Expert Committee on BFSI at the Indian Chamber of Commerce since April 2023. Supriyo has held directorial roles at Peerless Hospital and Peerless Hotels Ltd. since June 2022, and at PGFI - Peerless since the same month, while also being a founding figure of Lyf Skillz, an educational platform, since March 2020. Previous experience includes leading strategy and new initiatives at Axis Bank until June 2022, serving as CEO of Education at ABP Pvt. Ltd. from April 2012 to February 2020, and working as an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company from June 2002 to March 2012. Supriyo's academic credentials include a Business Leadership graduate program at Harvard Business School, a PGDBM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry was set up in 1853. However, the Chamber's origins date back to 1833 when its founding forefathers came together to form the first association of its kind in the country, which was later formalized as the Bengal Chamber. For the last one and a half centuries, the Chamber has played a pioneering role as a helmsman, steering the evolution of Commerce and Industry in India.
