Willem Mazzotti Pallard is a highly experienced energy consultant and researcher specializing in heat pump and geothermal energy systems. Currently serving as Co-head of R&D Geoenergy at Bengt Dahlgren since June 2015, Willem's expertise encompasses ground-source heat pumps, high-temperature thermal energy storage, energy planning, and decarbonization strategies. As a PhD Candidate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology since February 2016, Willem focuses on advanced topics such as deep borehole heat exchangers and energy modeling. Previous roles include Research Engineer at KTH, where Willem coordinated EU project proposals and conducted laboratory tests on innovative heat pump technologies, and a consultant position at Energi & Kylanalys AB. Willem holds a Master of Science degree in Climatic and Energy Engineering from INSA Strasbourg and has additionally participated in trainee and exchange programs in Climate and Energy as well as Environmental and Mechanical Engineering.
