Jorge Bárcenas Chocano

Jorge Bárcenas Chocano is an accomplished senior attorney and head of marketing at Benites, Vargas & Ugaz Abogados, specializing in environmental law and natural resources since July 2017. With extensive experience in legal advisory roles at various prestigious firms, including ONTIER and Benites, Forno & Ugaz Abogados, Jorge has developed expertise in environmental matters, mining law, and business development. Additionally, Jorge has served as a professor in the Executive Program in Administrative Law at Universidad Continental. Jorge holds a Master’s in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development from Universitat d'Alacant and has completed several specialized courses in marketing for law firms, further enhancing professional capabilities in legal marketing and business strategy. Currently, Jorge is enrolled in a specialization program in strategic marketing direction at Pacífico Business School.
