John Burke

John Burke, CFA has extensive experience in the finance industry. John is currently the Global CEO at Bennelong Funds Management, a position they have held since March 2023. Previously, John served as the Global Head of Fidante Partners from February 2020 to March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Co-Head of Challenger Investment Solutions at Challenger Limited, where they provided advice and execution services on derivative strategies. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Deutsche Bank as a Director in the Structured Solutions team, offering products to Australia's Superannuation and Pension Funds. John also worked at AllianceBernstein as a Senior Portfolio Manager specializing in equity and at Mercer Investment Consulting as a Principal providing asset allocation and manager selection advice. John started their career as an Investment Consultant at Towers Perrin.

John Burke, CFA holds a Bachelor's degree in History and Economics (MA) from the University of St Andrews, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Morrisons Academy from 1986 to 1992. Currently, they are pursuing a certificate in corporate governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which they started in 2021.
