Shailen Chawla

Shailen Chawla is an experienced professional in real estate and facilities management, currently serving as Associate VP at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. since September 2018, where responsibilities include transforming operations and strategy across India. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Director at JLL, managing significant corporate space and operations across multiple dimensions including budget management and sustainability. Earlier roles in the Indian Navy included Director of Ship Production and various engineering positions, where Shailen handled shipbuilding projects valued at USD 4 billion and managed technical teams. Shailen holds an MBA in Business Leadership from Nanyang Business School, along with certifications from Wharton and MIT's Sloan School of Management, and advanced degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from prestigious institutions.
