Dr. Shannon Hurst

Dr. Shannon Hurst is an experienced educator specializing in science, currently serving as an Upper School Science Teacher at Bennett Day School since July 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Hurst taught at GEMS World Academy in Chicago for six years and at Cicero 99 for a decade. Additionally, Dr. Hurst worked as a Nye Partner at Rush/Northwestern from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Hurst holds a Doctorate in Research from Lewis University, earned between 2007 and 2012.
