Deirdre Bairstow-Allen

Deirdre Bairstow-Allen has extensive experience in the field of financial aid. Deirdre most recently worked as the Director of Financial Aid at Bennington College from 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Financial Aid at The New School from 2019 to 2022. Deirdre also held various positions at Berklee College of Music, including Interim Director of Financial Aid at Boston Conservatory at Berklee from 2018 to 2019, Director of Financial Aid Operations from 2015 to 2019, and Associate Director of Financial Aid from 2013 to 2015. Before joining Berklee, they worked as the Coordinator of Financial Aid/Acting Director Enrollment at Berkshire Community College from 2005 to 2013. Deirdre began their career at Mount Holyoke College as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid from 1999 to 2005, and also worked as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Simon's Rock College of Bard from 1997 to 2000.

Deirdre Bairstow-Allen obtained an MBA in Master in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, from 1997 to 1999. Deirdre also attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst but did not complete any specific degree or field of study.
