Christine Althaber

Christine Althaber is an experienced operations lead and cross-functional laboratory manager at Benson Hill since January 2017, overseeing general lab operations, procurement, asset management, and vendor relations while ensuring a safe environment. In previous roles, Christine led pipeline operations as a Research Associate II, specializing in tissue culture and genome editing techniques. Prior to Benson Hill, Christine worked as a Contract Biologist with Rose International at Monsanto, supporting R&D pipelines, and served as a lab technician at the MU Soybean Genetics & Genomics Laboratory, assisting with various plant stress studies. Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
