Vice President - Strategy & Business Development at Benson Hill

Kurt Long is an experienced executive currently serving as Vice President of Emerging Nutrition at Ardent Mills since September 2024 and previously held multiple leadership roles at Benson Hill, including Vice President of Strategy & Business Development and Vice President & General Manager - Proteins. Prior to that, Kurt Long worked at ADM from May 2009 to August 2021, where responsibilities included Vice President roles in NA Savory Food, Global Specialty Ingredient Systems, and Global Commercial Director for Flexitarian Solutions, among others. In these positions, Kurt Long focused on driving growth in plant-based protein and flexitarian categories, overseeing global P&L responsibilities, and leading strategic initiatives. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield.
