Penny Draper

Penny Draper has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Penny most recently worked as the Head of Commercial Finance at Bensons for Beds since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Financial Planning Manager at Co-op from 2020 to 2022, where they led a team in delivering financial plans and analysis for retail operations. Before that, Penny held various positions at Matalan, including Head of Financial Management and Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, where they led teams and delivered financial information for the company's growth and cost reduction. Penny also had experience as a Management Accountant and Property Accountant.

Penny Draper began their education in 1998 at Edge Hill University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Maths and Information Systems. Penny successfully completed their studies in 2002 and achieved a First Class Honours distinction. Later, they enrolled in The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they obtained their CIMA qualification with first-time passes in the field of Accounting. Penny'seducation history includes a strong foundation in both mathematics and information systems, alongside expertise in management accounting.
