Sami Mohammed, PE, currently serves as a Structural Engineer at Bensonwood since October 2020, after prior experience as a Structural Engineer at Laguna Consulting Engineers and as a Structural Engineer in Training at 29E6. Sami has a solid background in analyzing and designing various structures, including residential, commercial, and light gauge steel, as well as performing construction observations. Sami contributed to significant research projects at Clemson University, focusing on storm surge hazard modeling, and has held academic roles, including lecturer positions and research assistantships, demonstrating a strong foundation in civil and structural engineering. Sami holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and the University of Massachusetts Lowell, along with a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Osmania University and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
