Rahul Desai

Rahul Desai is a structural engineer with extensive experience spanning over a decade in the engineering field. Currently serving as a Structural Engineer III at SmithGroup since September 2021, Desai has previously held positions at Performa Inc. and Palmer Engineering Company, where responsibilities included overseeing and designing structural systems for a variety of projects. With a solid foundation in civil engineering, Desai holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Concentration, both from the University of Kansas. Additional experience includes roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Petroleum Engineering Technician, showcasing a diverse background in engineering and technical analysis.
