Thomas Michels

Thomas Michels possesses extensive experience in the steel and tube production industry, having served as Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Management Board at Benteler Steel/Tube GmbH from January 2010 to October 2022. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Vice President Operations, focusing on industrial engineering and continuous improvement, as well as Plant Manager, where responsibilities included maintenance management and industrial engineering. Thomas graduated with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in environmental and process engineering from Universität Paderborn from January 1992 to January 1996.
