Matheus Candal Reis Fernandes

Matheus Candal Reis Fernandes is a geotechnical engineer with a diverse background in civil engineering and investment analysis. Since March 2020, Matheus has been employed at Benthic, contributing expertise in geotechnical engineering. Prior to this role, from June 2017 to January 2020, Matheus worked as an investment analyst at Artesius Capital. Earlier experience includes internships at Odebrecht, supporting the execution of pavement projects for major infrastructure, and at COPPE/UFRJ, where involvement in field and laboratory testing advanced practical expertise in engineering. Matheus holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, completed in 2016.
