Ian Kendall

Ian Kendall is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Head of EE Systems Infrastructure at Bentley Motors since May 2021, overseeing a team responsible for electronic architecture, cybersecurity, and functional safety among other areas. Previously, Kendall held roles such as Head of Infotainment, Connected Car and User Experience at Italdesign and Principal Engineer at Volkswagen Group of America, where Ian led innovative projects in smart infrastructure and connected services. Kendall's early career began at Jaguar Cars, progressing from an apprentice to a junior manager while earning a doctorate in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Warwick. Additionally, Ian holds several advanced degrees, including an MBA from The Manchester Metropolitan University and an MSc in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick, complemented by a degree from the University of Cambridge.
