Christopher J. Joyce

Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Bentley University

Chris joined Bentley in 2015 and has served as an advisor and chief of staff to two presidents, and he led the Strategic Communications team focused on public affairs, communications strategy and content development. In 2019 he was named interim vice president for marketing and communications where he is responsible for brand and marketing strategy, integrated marketing communications, communications and public relations. Chris has wide-ranging experience planning, executing and advising organizational development strategies, policy initiatives, media tactics and campaigns, with expertise in managing public relations and community outreach. Prior to Bentley, Chris worked on a variety of local, state and federal political campaigns as a campaign manager and served as the executive director for the Massachusetts Democratic Party. He also led teams for the successful reelection of President Barack Obama and the election of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. Chris is a graduate of Bates College with a bachelor’s degree in History.
