Michelle Nur-Chowdhury

Michelle Nur-Chowdhury has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on training and leadership development. Michelle began their career as a Manager at Bassett's Original Turkey, where they quickly progressed to a shift supervisor and gained valuable experience in running a unit. Michelle then joined Restaurant Systems International as a Training Coordinator, where they participated in the pre-opening phases of store development and trained over 150 employees. Michelle then worked at Rita's Water Ice Franchise Corp. as a Regional District Manager, overseeing corporate stores and managing franchise regions. Michelle also served as the Training Director, creating web-based training courses and interactive workshops for franchisees and managers. Michelle continued to advance their career at Chick-fil-A, where they served as the Training Director, overseeing operations, training, and human resources. At Saxbys Coffee, Michelle worked as the Director of Training, where they developed a leadership development program and created various training materials. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Operations at Bento Sushi, where they have been instrumental in the rapid expansion of the company's presence in the United States.

Michelle Nur-Chowdhury attended the Community College of Philadelphia from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at J.W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School from 1993 to 1996. Michelle also obtained several certifications from the National Restaurant Association, including the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certificate in August 2014, ServSafe Allergens in February 2019, and Certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor in January 2019.
