Valerie Sweeney

Valerie Sweeney, CPSM, serves as the Senior Manager and Procurement Systems Lead at BeiGene since February 2020, where responsibilities include identifying opportunities, evaluating technologies, and leading implementation projects to support global procurement transformation, particularly focusing on the Ariba P2P platform. Prior to this, Sweeney was the Procurement Systems and Tools Manager at Takeda from November 2017 to January 2020, where optimization of Ariba's use was achieved along with the establishment of best practices for eSourcing. Earlier experience includes roles at Topco Associates LLC, where Sweeney worked as both eSourcing Manager and eSourcing Associate Manager, designing contract management processes and managing online auctions, and positions at General Dynamics American Overseas Marine and Teradyne, emphasizing procurement and supply chain management. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Stonehill College.
