Yang Gao

Yang Gao is a highly experienced professional in the field of Analytical Research and Development, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Analytical R&D at BeiGene since August 2019. In this role, Yang provides analytical strategies and operational support for clinical and commercial projects while collaborating with other functions within CMC. Prior to this position, Yang held various roles at BeiGene, including Director and Associate Director, leading initiatives in method development and lifecycle management. At Gilead Sciences, from 2016 to August 2019, Yang worked as Associate Director and Senior Manager, focusing on pharmaceutical development and regulatory compliance. Yang's earlier experience includes a Staff Scientist role at Covance and a Graduate Research Assistantship at Purdue University, where a PhD in Analytical Chemistry was earned. In addition, Yang holds a BS in Pharmacy from Peking University.
