Joanne Piccininni EdD, NRP, MICP serves as the Program Director and Assistant Professor for the Paramedic Science Program at Bergen Community College since July 2014, and was awarded tenure in 2021. In addition, Joanne is active with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, holding multiple roles including Education Committee Member and Chair of the Prehospital Trauma Committee, while also serving as the State Education Coordinator for New Jersey. Joanne’s extensive experience includes positions as Training Center Faculty at Englewood Hospital and Staff Paramedic at Valley Health System and Hackensack University Medical Center, among others. Joanne holds a Doctor of Education degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, an MBA from Columbia Southern University, a Bachelor of Arts from Montclair State University, and completed Paramedic Certification at The Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center.
