Sanjay Chowdhury

Sanjay Chowdhury is currently the Business Head of Protecton at Berger Paints. Sanjay has previously served as the Chief Business Development Manager ( Country head) at Berger Paints India from April 2002 to January 2013. In this role, they were responsible for making and implementing strategy through strong Business development and creating new customer bank development activity through Caring and Sharing and Growing together to meet organisational objectives in terms of sales from new Business, Product modification, New product introduction, technology gap fulfilment and cost reduction through import substitution ensuring to achieve bottom line target as well.

From March 2000 to May 2002, Chowdhury served as the Product Manager at Jubilant Organosys Ltd, where they were responsible for the introduction of Coating emulsion in Paint and Construction Chemical industry. Sanjay then served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GRAND POLYCOATS CO PVT LIMITED from January 2013 to September 2013.

Chowdhury has also served as a Product manager - PCD at jubilant organosys limited from January 2000 to December 2002, and as a Manager at BERGER from January 1995 to December 2009.

Sanjay Chowdhury has an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. Sanjay also has an MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute Of Social Welfare and Business Management. In addition, they have a M.TECH in POLYMER TECHNOLOGY from the Delhi College of Engineering. Sanjay also has a Certification from NACE International, The Worldwide Corrosion Authority in NACE LEVEL -1 & LEVEL-2.

They work with Tapan Kumar Dhar - Sr. Vice President, R&D, Rajesh Kumar Tewari - Vice President, Manufacturing, and Sudip Dasgupta - Business Head, Auto, GI & Powder. Sanjay Chowdhury reports to Abhijit Roy, Managing Director & CEO.
