Subhendu Bag has a diverse range of work experience. Subhendu currently works as the Head of Compensation and Benefits, HRIS, and HRBP at Berger Paints India since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Linde India Limited from 2015 to 2023, where they held the position of Head of Sales Support/CSC-India and was responsible for people management, stakeholder management, and project management. Subhendu also had significant achievements in HR activities and business support during their tenure.

Before joining Linde India Limited, Subhendu worked at Linde Global from 2013 to 2015 in various roles, including Manager-Hire to Retire and South Asia, and Director-Central Quality and Enablement. During this time, they managed teams across different functions and regions, embracing responsibilities in transition, operations, and systems excellence.

Prior to that, Subhendu was associated with Linde India Limited as General Manager HR-Reward and System from 2010 to 2013. Subhendu played a key role in setting up the compensation and benefits roadmap, restructuring compensation to enhance employee benefits, and formulating HR policies and guidelines.

Subhendu began their career at Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd in 2004, where they served as Manager-Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, and HR OPS-Program Manager for Greater Asia Region. Additionally, they worked at Hewitt Associate (Aon Hew) as an Associate Consultant from 2000 to 2004 and managed compensation, benefits, and retiral administration for various multinational clients.

Their career commenced at PSI Net-EXL Services, where they held the position of Senior Executive/Executive until 2000. Throughout their career, Subhendu Bag has showcased expertise in people management, project management, and HR operational excellence.

Subhendu Bag completed a C-PGDBA in HRM from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning from 2007-2009. Subhendu also obtained a PGDM in Finance and Financial Management Services from All India Management Association (AIMA) from 2006-2008. Prior to that, they completed a B.COM in Commerce from Goenka College of Commerce from 1988-1991. Subhendu Bag completed their 12th grade education in Science from Midnapore Collegiate School from 1981-1988. Subhendu also holds additional certifications in Human Resources and Six Sigma-Green belt.
