John Duggan

John Duggan is a seasoned professional in safety, health, and environmental (HSE) management with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Corporate Safety Director at Bering Straits Native Corporation since January 2023, John oversees the full spectrum of HSE programs and the development of corporate safety strategies. Prior to this role, John served as Vice President of HSE and Risk Management at Olgoonik Corporation from May 2014 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing HSE programs for a workforce of over 1000 employees in diverse service areas. Earlier career positions include Safety Manager for Shell, HSE Representative for Repsol, and HSE Advisor for BP, contributing valuable expertise in regulatory compliance, incident management, and program development. John holds an MBA and dual Master of Science degrees in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University.
