Ashley Powell

Ashley M. Powell, Assoc. AIA, AICP, is a seasoned professional in urban design and governance, currently serving as Founder and Partner at Governance Professional Solutions, LLC since March 2022. Prior to this, Ashley has held significant roles in local government, including Deputy County Supervisor for Berkeley County (SC) Government and Assistant County Administrator for Richland County Government, where responsibilities included strategic initiatives and oversight of critical departments. Ashley has a Master of Urban Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University, demonstrating a strong academic foundation complemented by practical experience in planning, community engagement, and governance.
