James J Troy II

James J Troy II is a Geographic Information Systems Database Administrator at Berkeley County (SC) Government since August 2021, responsible for GIS data maintenance and enhancement, quality assurance, and customer service. Previously served as a Senior Information Technology Technician in a hybrid role focused on application development and end-user support, and held the position of Director of Business Development at MinuteHound™, utilizing data analytics to assist business owners. James also has a background in security with Securitas and served as an Infantryman in the United States Army, participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership- Information Technology from Colorado State University, along with various IT certifications and a Bachelor's and Associate's degree in Project Management and Software Application Programming, respectively.
