Andrea Sturkey

Andrea Sturkey is the current Chief Human Resources Officer at BERKELEY COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT. Andrea has previously served as Acting Superintendent at Dorchester School District Four, Director of Human Resources at Florence One Schools, and Assistant Superintendent for Personnel at Florence Public School District One. Sturkey began their career as a teacher at Latta Area Schools - Dillon School District Three, where they taught for eight years.

Andrea Sturkey's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Francis Marion University. Andrea then went on to obtain a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Winthrop University. Finally, Andrea Sturkey completed their education with a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Nova Southeastern University.
