Branden Brough

Branden Brough is an expert in science policy leadership, strategic planning, communications, and government relations. They served as the Deputy Director at the Molecular Foundry from 2016 to 2022, guiding scientific initiatives and operations. Currently, Branden is the Assistant Director for Nanotechnology at the Office of Science and Technology Policy, where they advise White House leaders on nanotechnology and emerging technologies. Additionally, they hold the position of Director at the National Nanotechnology Coordination Office, acting as the national spokesperson for the U.S. National Nanotechnology Initiative. Branden obtained a PhD in MEMS/Nanotechnology from UCLA in 2006.
