Daniel Dodgen

Daniel Dodgen is a Senior Advisor for Strategy, Policy, Planning, and Requirements at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). They have extensive experience in health and mental health policy, emergency response, and community resilience, having previously served as Director of Operational Policy and Strategic Planning and Director of the Division for At-Risk Individuals at HHS. Daniel’s background includes significant roles in federal offices, including the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, where they coordinated national disaster mental health activities. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Psychology from the University of Southern California and a Senior Executive Fellowship at Harvard University.
