Jennifer Tang has over 20 years of experience in community relations and public service, currently serving as the Director of Community Relations at Berkeley Lab since March 2015. Prior roles at Berkeley Lab include Manager for Federal and Community Relations and Manager for Federal and External Relations. Jennifer's background includes a tenure as Senior Field Representative for U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer from March 2003 to March 2015 and various positions with Assembly Speaker pro Tem Fred Keeley, including District Director. Earlier in the career, Jennifer was the Santa Cruz County Campaign Manager for Keeley for Senate. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, attained between 1996 and 2000.
