Keith Beattie

Keith Beattie is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in release management and software development. Currently serving as the Group Lead for Sustainable Software Engineering and a Computer Systems Engineer at Berkeley Lab since August 2002, Keith manages multiple projects, including Lux Zeplin and CCSI. Prior to this role, Keith was a Senior Release Engineer and Build & Configuration Manager at Bigstep.com, overseeing source code management and release processes for a large development team. Earlier career experience includes work as a Software Engineer at Baan, where Keith developed middleware components for the Baan ERP system. Keith holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, both from San Francisco State University.
