Margaret Taylor

Research Scientist

Margaret Taylor is a seasoned research scientist with over a decade of experience at Berkeley Lab, where roles include Research Scientist, Project Scientist, and Faculty Scientist since May 2010. Previously, Taylor served as a Research Associate at Stanford University from November 2012 to June 2018, leading efforts at the Precourt Energy Efficiency Center on the intersection of energy efficiency policy and innovation, while also contributing to sustainable transportation research and co-chairing the Behavior Energy Climate Change conference from 2013 to 2018. Taylor's academic background includes a PhD in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science (Geochemistry focus) and History (American) from Columbia University.
