Muhammad Ihsan Ul Haq, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow at Berkeley Lab, focusing on cryogenic transmission electron microscopy and nanospectroscopy for lithium-ion batteries. Previous roles include a postdoctoral research associate at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where research was conducted on interphases in battery electrodes, and graduate studies where metal phosphides and MXene anodes were developed for sodium batteries. Additional experience includes positions as a visiting researcher at Drexel University, assistant manager production and management trainee at Atlas Battery Limited, team manager for Pakistan's first Formula-type Electric Car, and head of the mechanical section for Pakistan's first solar car. Muhammad Ihsan Ul Haq holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a BE in Mechanical Engineering from NUST, and is currently pursuing a COBE in Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications at the University of California, Berkeley.
