Nan Ding is a Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab since August 2018, following a postdoctoral role. Previously, Nan Ding served as a Research Assistant at the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, where a project on "Redesigning CAM-SE for Peta-Scale Climate Modeling Performance and Ultra-High Resolution on Sunway TaihuLight" was recognized as an ACM Gordon Bell Prize Finalist in 2017. Additionally, Nan Ding was a Visiting Scholar at Intel Parallel Computing Lab from December 2015 to June 2016, contributing to the development of an automated performance modeling tool utilizing statistical techniques. Nan Ding holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Harbin Engineering University.
