Paige Beck

Paige Beck is a dedicated mechanical engineering professional currently serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Berkeley Lab since August 2022. Previously, Paige gained valuable experience as a Guidance Navigation Control Intern at Northrop Grumman, focusing on the GEOStar program, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue Ray W. Herrick Laboratories, where the focus was on developing refrigeration cycles for microgravity applications. Other notable internships include work at Caterpillar Inc. in controls and simulation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation assessing construction materials, and as a teaching assistant in engineering and computer science at Purdue University. Paige earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and is pursuing a PhD at the University of California, Berkeley.
