Nayia Kuvetakis

Teaching Artist at Berkeley Playhouse

Nayia Kuvetakis is an experienced educator and teaching artist with a robust background in theater and education. Since July 2017, Nayia has served as an English Teacher at the Contra Costa School of Performing Arts and has been a Teaching Artist at Berkeley Playhouse at Julia Morgan since June 2014, developing curriculum for students aged 3-17. As Conservatory Producer, Nayia managed the Youth Production Program, innovating educational programming for over 1,200 children annually. Previous roles include student teaching at Oakland High School and receiving recognition as a finalist for "Outstanding World Premiere Play" for the script "Trailer Park Gods." Nayia holds a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature and Theater from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's Degree in Education from Saint Mary's College of California.
