Gary Johnson is currently the Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group (BRG) and has held various leadership roles in pharmacy including Chief Innovation Officer & Vice President of Pharmacy Services at the University of Kentucky from 2017 to 2023, and Director of Pharmacy at the University of Virginia Health System from 2009 to 2011. Previously, Johnson served as Vice President of Pharmacy Practice Services at Talyst and Corporate Director of Pharmacy at Parkview Health. They began their career as Assistant Director of Pharmacy at the University of Kansas Medical Center between 1997 and 2001. Johnson is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Health System Administration and a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Mercer University.
