Mark Abernathy

Mark Abernathy is an accomplished financial and operational consultant with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group since April 2010, Mark specializes in expert witness, litigation support, and forensic services. Prior roles include Managing Director at Resolve Advisory Partners, LLC, and Partner at Deloitte, where Mark focused on litigation and investigation support services. Mark's tenure at Navigant Consulting as Managing Director spanned from 1998 to 2007, and earlier, Mark held the position of Sr. VP and CFO at Jacobson Abernathy & Associates from 1989 to 1998, as well as V.P. of Finance at CIGNA Healthcare from 1981 to 1985. Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University, awarded between 1973 and 1978, and completed high school at Columbia Military Academy from 1969 to 1973.
