Alex Caveny

Alex Caveny is a seasoned professional with a strong background in business strategy, analytics, and engineering. Currently serving as a Mentor at Berkeley SkyDeck since 2024, Alex previously held the position of VP of Business Strategy and Analytics at Embracer Freemode from 2022 to 2024. As Co-Founder and CPO at Aionic Labs, which was acquired by Embracer Group, Alex contributed from 2020 to 2022. Earlier experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Scientist at Deep Sentinel in 2019-2020 and engineering positions at the United States Department of Defense from 2015 to 2018, as well as at Emerson in 2014-2015. Alex holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, completed in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, earned in 2014.
