Lukas Johnson

Instructional Technology Specialist at Berklee College of Music

Lukas Johnson has extensive experience in music technology and education, currently serving as the Director of Lab Operations at Berklee College of Music since 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing advanced music technology and production facilities. In addition, Lukas has held the position of Instructional Technology Specialist III, focusing on developing specialized training for faculty and staff, and served as the Electronic Production and Design Operations Manager, directing operations and future strategies for the department. As a course developer, Lukas created "Electronic Production and Live Performance" for Berklee Valencia's Music Technology Innovation Masters Program. Concurrently, Lukas teaches Sound for Film as an Adjunct Professor and Senior Critic at the Rhode Island School of Design and offers courses in Max programming, Music Production, Synthesis, and Music Technology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Previous experience includes instructor roles in audio production and work as a digital audio editor and tracking engineer. Lukas holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Synthesis, Sound Design, and Production from Berklee College of Music.
