Emma Bland is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting, currently serving as the Territory Underwriting Manager at Berkley Industrial Comp since June 2024. Prior to this role, Emma held various underwriting positions at RAS from January 2018 to June 2024, including Senior Workers’ Compensation Underwriter and Workers’ Compensation Underwriter. Emma began the career as a Workers' Compensation Underwriter at New Mexico Mutual from June 2015 to January 2018, following earlier roles at RLI as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and Underwriting Intern from January 2012 to May 2015. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas (2008-2012) and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Virginia's Institute for Shipboard Education, Semester at Sea in 2010. Emma is also certified as a CPCU, ARM, and AIDA.
