Janine Murphy

Janine Murphy is an experienced art educator currently serving as an Art Teacher at Berkley Schools since September 2023. With a diverse background in art education spanning over two decades, Janine has held various positions including Art Teacher at Michigan International Prep School and Ovid Elsie Schools, where responsibilities included developing high school curricula in Drawing, Painting, and Digital Arts. Prior experience includes roles as an Art Educator at Oxford Community Schools, Creative Director at The Art Box, and numerous positions at Port Huron Schools, focusing on STEAM education and art instruction. Janine holds a Master's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Michigan State University, as well as certifications and degrees in Art Education and Fine Arts from Eastern Michigan University, Wayne State University, and St. Clair County Community College.
