Ron Fritz is an experienced educator and curriculum developer with a diverse background in teaching and program leadership. Currently serving as the Alternative Education Program Director and Teacher at Berkley Schools since August 2013, Ron also coaches varsity wrestling and football. With extensive freelance curriculum development experience starting in May 2002, Ron specializes in creating K-12 programs aligned with benchmarks and outcomes, as well as summer camp and after-school curricula. Previous roles include Lecturer III at the University of Michigan-Flint, Anti-Bias Trainer for the Anti-Defamation League, and Lecturer II in the School of Education at the University of Michigan, where Ron supervised and instructed student teachers. Ron's leadership experience is further demonstrated as the director of Camp Tanuga from 1996 to 2022. Ron holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum Development from the University of Michigan and a Secondary Teaching Certification in Physics, Math, and Social Studies.
