Hedberg Giovany Espitia Paez

Hedberg Giovany Espitia Paez has worked for various companies in different roles throughout their career. Hedberg Giovany started their career at Previsora Seguros in 1994, where they worked as a Técnico de seguros, responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and settling contracts. Hedberg Giovany also interacted with clients in-person and over the phone. In 2002, they joined Bancolombia as an Ejecutivo de cuentas y ventas, focusing on customer visits, account opening, product delivery, and inventory control. Hedberg Giovany then moved to Allianz Colombia in 2004, where they held multiple roles including Director Técnico Comercial and Director de Responsabilidad Civil, Transportes y Navegación. In these roles, they worked on improving product conditions and technical aspects, leading to increased production and profitability. Hedberg Giovany also developed and implemented the Allianz Customer Model for Property & Casualty. In 2020, Espitia Paez joined W. R. Berkley Corporation as a Senior Marine Underwriter, before being promoted to Senior Director of Engineering & Marine in 2023.

Hedberg Giovany Espitia Paez has a diverse education history. In 2017, they attended Universidad de Burgos and pursued a degree in Strategic Management and New Trends in Insurance Marketing, with a focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership. In the same year, they also obtained a Certificate of Accreditation in Underwriting Midcorp Liability from P&C Academy - University at Allianz.
