Lauren Buonome

Lauren Buonome has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren currently holds the position of Vice President and Senior Counsel at W. R. Berkley Corporation since January 2024. Prior to this, they worked at PartnerRe in various roles, including General Counsel, Bermuda & Investments from August 2023 to January 2024, Head of Legal and Compliance Strategic Solutions and Operations, Associate General Counsel from November 2021 to August 2023, and Associate General Counsel, Investments from December 2017 to November 2021. Earlier in their career, they served as an Associate - Business Restructuring & Reorganization at Jones Day from October 2009 to December 2017. Before transitioning into the legal field, they worked as an Elementary School English Teacher at Saint George's College from August 2004 to January 2006 and as a High School Spanish Teacher at Bishop Stang High School from August 2002 to June 2004.

Lauren Buonome has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Spanish from the College of the Holy Cross. Lauren also holds a Master of Education degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Providence College. Additionally, Lauren has a Juris Doctor degree from St. John's University School of Law.
