Saumyang Patel

Saumyang Patel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in catastrophe risk analysis and enterprise risk management, currently serving as a Senior ERM & Catastrophe Analyst at W. R. Berkley Corporation since April 2014. Previously held positions include Catastrophe Risk Analyst at the same firm, as well as various roles at Purdue University from August 2008 to January 2014, including Graduate Research Assistant, SURF Graduate Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Saumyang Patel was also a Fellow at The U.S. Borlaug Summer Institute on Global Food Security in July 2012 and worked as a Technical Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions from 2006 to 2007. Educational qualifications include two Master of Science (M.S.) degrees from Purdue University in Economics (2011-2013) and Civil Engineering (2008-2010), along with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Construction from Nirma Institute of Technology (2002-2006).
