Sonya Johnson

Sonya Johnson is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in claims management and related roles. Currently serving as the Auto/GL&WC CSR Manager at W. R. Berkley Corporation since November 2019, Sonya effectively manages a team to ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are met, while overseeing the setup of first notice of loss claims in Guidewire. Prior to this role, Sonya held various positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance from March 2008 to October 2019, including Senior Claims Examiner and Senior Technical Claims Specialist II, where responsibilities involved managing complex worker’s compensation cases, developing training programs, and innovating settlement strategies that saved clients substantial costs.
