Matthew Jones

Matthew Jones is an accomplished software engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and automated train operation (ATO) technology. Currently serving at Berkshire Grey since April 2019, Matthew previously held significant roles at Ansaldo STS A Hitachi Group Company, where contributions included the development, testing, and optimization of ATO systems for various transit authorities. Earlier experience includes the development of fail-safe software in a 2oo2 architecture and multi-threaded applications in Linux. Matthew's academic credentials feature a Master of Science in Embedded Software Engineering from Gannon University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from St. Bonaventure University.
