Darin M. Carroll

Darin M. Carroll, 49, serves as PacifiCorp’s CEO.

A leading western U.S. energy services provider and the largest grid owner/operator in the West, PacifiCorp serves 2.1 million customers in six western states. The company is comprised of two business units: Pacific Power (serving Oregon, Washington and California) and Rocky Mountain Power (serving Utah, Wyoming and Idaho).

Before joining PacifiCorp, Carroll was employed by CenterPoint Energy in Houston, Texas, where he led the company’s electric business comprised of 2.9 million customers in two states, Texas and Indiana. Prior to that role, he led the gas business for CenterPoint, which served 4.3 million customers across six states.

Caroll earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana, completed the Executive Finance Course at The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and completed the Utility Executive Course at the University of Idaho.
